CARPETTES| UK '70s punk

The Carpettes were formed in mid-1977 by Kevin Heard, George Maddison and Neil Thompson. In the same year signed for Small Wonder records that release their first "Radio Wunderbar" ep. After another great single in 1978 they made a contract with the new indie label Beggars Banquet that from 1978 to 1980 released 5 singles and 2 albums. In the 90s Anagram records and Overground released two retrospective cd with old and difficult to find material. Actually the Carpettes are back with a new album and new tour dates, produced by the band " Better than ever Before" their last release.
